we were leaving at 2.00 at night to walk up the mountain....
we walked in the total darkness only with our headtorches over stones and rocks and more.....
it was strenuous and we could always feel and see the summit..but we could never reach it....
as the Israelis said: it is a lying mountain meaning that you think all the time you are nearly there but there is another summit and another rock hill and so on....
till you think you cannot and you dont want to go any further...
and then you have a sun rise like this....
and you are not thinking about the ascent any more....
